Modern Fuel Welcomes Maddi Andrews as Executive Director

Modern Fuel is excited to welcome Maddi Andrews as Executive Director starting November 17, 2023!



Maddi joins Modern Fuel from the Kingston School of Art where she worked as Executive Director, and Office Manager & Course Coordinator. Maddi has held various administrative and programming positions at the Agnes Etherington Art Centre, and currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Union Gallery. In addition to her work as an arts administrator and arts educator, Maddi is an accomplished arts writer. She has worked as arts editor for MUSE Magazine and has contributed to Kingston’s Skeleton Press newspaper. Maddi holds a BA and MA in Art History from Queen’s University. “I am thrilled to be joining the collaborative, close-knit team at Modern Fuel Artist Run Centre, especially at such an exciting juncture for the organization. I look forward to further developing connections with the community to support, advocate for, and uplift our artists.” – Maddi Andrews “We are so excited to welcome Maddi in the role of Executive Director!
