This exhibition-fundraiser will be held from December 10 - December 18, 2021, at Modern Fuel Artist-Run Centre, with an opening reception from 6-10pm (health and safety restrictions permitting).

Modern Fuel Artist-Run Centre is currently accepting submissions of visual mediums to our Annual Members’ Show and Sale. RE:MEMBER is our most important fundraising activity of the year, and it also serves as a small survey of the works of our members. For artists, it’s a great way to connect with the community and other artists, as well as to develop new audiences.
This year, members can submit up to three artworks for consideration. Works that are meant to be displayed together, such as series or multiples, will count as one work. For example, nine paintings, grouped as three triptychs is allowable and counts as three works.
Works for the exhibition will be selected by our Executive Director and RE:MEMBER committee on a rolling basis. Works will be chosen based on their artistic merit and our subjective evaluation of their likelihood to sell.
While Modern Fuel accepts work at any price point and endeavours to attract buyers, we ask members to keep in mind that most works sold in the past have been in the $100-$300 range. There is no submission fee, however, applicants must be members in good standing with Modern Fuel as participation in the show and sale is one of the membership benefits.
Works will be available through direct sale, with a minimum of 50% of the revenue supporting Modern Fuel Artist-Run Centre. Artists will be provided with a charitable tax receipt for the portion of the sale that is donated.
