We're hiring a Special Projects Coordinator! (Deadline passed)

Modern Fuel is seeking a Special Projects Coordinator for a 16-week contract for summer 2021. This position requires a high level of writing, critical thinking, and creativity. Under the supervision of the Executive Director and working in collaboration with the New Media Workspace Committee, the successful applicant will create written and video content highlighting our media equipment, lead projects to further activate our New Media Workspace (NMW) and plan special events throughout the summer. They will also actively participate in the overall functioning of the gallery, including but not limited to: marketing, writing about art, installing exhibitions, planning workshops, creating social media and traditional media content and more. The Special Projects Coordinator will be responsible for two main projects - leading the New Media Workspace, and assisting with exhibitions and gallery duties. In order to fulfill the responsibilities of utilizing the New Media Workspace and assisting with gallery duties, this position requires that the successful applicant is based within the KFL&A region.
